Byron comes from Massachusetts originally. He moved to Florida in 1998 to attend the University of Central Florida where he would eventually obtain his B.A. He would then enlist in the United States Army, obtain a commission, and serve two combat tours in Kuwait and Afghanistan. After his service, he attended the Western Michigan Thomas Cooley School of Law and obtained his Juris Doctorate. Byron worked as a Public Defender in the 13th Judicial Circuit practicing criminal defense before switching to First Party Property insurance defense.

In his spare time, Byron enjoys keeping up with current events and is an avid reader.
